Mirart is proud to introduce its newest innovation for the stone industry. Our natural and simulated granite switch plates put the finishing touch on your already beautiful work. No longer will your customers who order backsplashes have to use ugly white, black, almond or stainless steel plates. Instead of a tile or plain backsplash, designers can specify a granite backsplash because now there are beautiful matching switch plates and receptacle covers. We have also just introduced a new line of simulated travertine and tumbled marble switch plates, and we will be adding many more stone switch plate styles in the near future.

Our Natural Granite Switch Plates are custom-made using the clients own material for an exact match, or they can be made from our stone. The plate is cut and then ground very thin. A bullnose edge is applied. Finally, we put on a protective heavy duty coating to prevent breakage. All plates are oversized to allow for larger cut-outs made in stone.

Our Granique® Switch Plates are produced using our unique method to simulate the look of granite, marble or other stone materials. In many cases, it is hard to tell them apart from natural stone. These plates are actually photographic images of real stone molded onto a layer of acrylic. A protective coating is then applied to prevent damage to the photo. All plates are oversized to allow extra room for the larger cut-outs made in stone. There are 32 standard colors and more coming in the future.

Our Stonique® Switch Plates are created by combining our special resin with real crushed stone to give you the look and feel of natural stone. These plates are made to match travertine and tumbled marble by retaining the texture that occurs naturally, but with more durability than natural stone.
